At Preston Village Pre-School we provide:

• A safe and secure environment
• A play-based learning approach
• An inside and outside set up that allows children’s interests to be extended
• Qualified management staff with lots of experience. Preston Village Pre-School is run by the same management as Teddy Bears Nursery in Hitchin which has been running for over 30 years.
• All staff are Safeguarding trained, and relevant training in other courses is kept up to date.
• First Aid Training is important to us – there is always a First Aid Trained member of staff on-site.
• We work in partnership with Parents / Carers and any relevant outside agencies.
• We promote healthy eating and oral health including self-grown fruit and vegetables – cooking and tasting what they have grown.
• Access to our outside learning environment through our ‘Secret Garden’.
• Walks in the local countryside – learning about nature and the world around them.
